Through our consignment program, your customers can experience where Black literature and food culture meet—browsing “fresh lit” alongside a jar of seasoning, a novel, a snack, and a story to share. We offer a curated selection of books and goods that celebrate Black culture, food heritage, and storytelling. Our consignment program provides fresh literature (from fiction to non-fiction), nourishing products (like spices, sauces, and syrups), and beautifully crafted displays designed to enrich your space and engage your customers.

We'll start with a brief conversation about you, your business, and your customers. Then, we will present a list of curated titles along with any suggested titles from you and your team. We source from several publishers and small Black businesses within the US for unique items.
No! You can choose to order titles directly from us for your business (direct purchase), or we will purchase fresh literature and nourishing goods for your space and you can retain 10% of all sales each month.
We will always check in with our partners. You can choose to remove items from your shelves at the end of the month or retain the items month to month.
We are a beautiful, small business and will scale this program with time. If you anticipate having a larger order, we will discuss direct purchasing options that will meet your needs.
As a partnership, we will ensure you have everything you need to promote in-store including but not limited to: product images, product descriptions and key features, relevant reviews, and business information. Also, we will provide our customers with a list of all Shelf to Table Partners. Additionally, we can discuss collaborative online promotion via social media, newsletters, and websites.
At Red Rice Books, all sales are final but we do, within reason, allow returns for store credit only. We recommend discussing return policies after submitting your interest in the program.
